Reading and exporting data with IDL.XLSLINK
As the successor product to IDLCONNECTOR, IDL.XLSLINK serves as a supplementary module to IDL.KONSIS and makes it possible to directly access the data inside the IDL.KONSIS database. This provides users with numerous options for dynamic data processing.
In this seminar, we will teach you how to prepare, evaluate and report data from IDL.KONSIS to Excel individually and purposefully, how to proceed when exporting data from Excel to IDL.KONSIS and what you need to consider when doing this.

- IDL.KONSIS users who want to flexibly read data from Excel into IDL.KONSIS or from IDL.KONSIS into Excel.

- Activation and setting of IDL.XLSLINK
- Getting to know the user interface
- Sample extracts from IDL.KONSIS to Excel at the level of master data, individual financial statements and consolidated financial statements (e.g. for filling in report forms, annual reports, etc.)
- Reading examples and variants for data export from Excel to IDL.KONSIS
- Structure of Excel sheets for reading in and out of master data, balances and transactions
- Explanations and application examples for the “tools”
Previous knowledge
- You should have basic knowledge from IDL.KONSIS I
- Basic knowledge of Excel is advisable
Methodology
- Small seminar group with a maximum of 10 participants
- Detailed explanations by an experienced trainer
- Practical implementation of the contents on the basis of numerous exercises under expert guidance
- Practical cooperation of the participants on their own training computer
- Documents accompanying the seminar; also for the proper use of the acquired skills after the training
