IDL has been the premium partner of PARIS Technologies Inc. in the German-speaking world since 2008. We have worked together to develop a solution for the linking of IDLKONSIS with the OLAP "PowerOLAP" database. This integration allows our customers faster, more flexible analysis as well as simplified reporting of IDLKONSIS and IDLWINKONS 3 data. Thus, the data recorded online in IDLKONSIS may be transferred ad hoc to the PowerOLAP-based reporting system for example.
We offer our customers the opportunity to obtain a complimentary single-station solution of the PowerOLAP database with standard integration into their IDLKONSIS (or IDLWINKONS 3). Our consultants are of course willingly available on site or via telephone/Internet for one day at no charge during installation and setup.
Integration offers many advantages:
- PowerOLAP can read and write the data relationally and multi-dimensionally
- Data recorded online in IDLKONSIS may be transferred ad hoc to the PowerOLAP-based reporting system
- OLAP technology offers more flexible options for analysis and reporting than conventional MS Excel integrations (ad hoc analysis, etc.)
- Drill-down/drill-through from the OLAP database to the relational data world is possible at any time, for example for the outline of a balance in individual records
- PowerOLAP can be supplemented with individual database fields (e.g. sales planning and controlling)
- The PowerOLAP front ends are predestinated for Excel users and particularly efficient
- Additional data from other external previous systems can be intergrated
- Access to the data takes place in real time
